Energy Over Time 2024
This message is about that ENERGY. How is your energy for all that you are wanting to create for this New Year? Is there stuck energy that might be blocking your connection to the present moment and to spirit?
Are you excited and curious about all that you get to create or are you feeling weighed down by the new responsibilities and energetic output that it will take? Get honest with yourself and do your best to reframe whatever is present in a way that fuels your curiosity.
One of my mentors Michelle always reminds me that energy precedes outcomes and I've learned to live by that because I test the benefits of realigning my energy to fuel my creations time and time again.
What seems to expand my time and keep me motivated on the path toward my projects and decisions seems to be my CURIOSITY. Curiosity gives me energy and allows me to stay engaged for longer periods of time.
The trick here is to know what are the things that I'm naturally curious about, when I’m honest about the specifics of that then I can start to design my goals, visions, and life around that. I call it FREE ENERGY.
This year I invite you to harness ENERGY > TIME to do this you are going to want to know what you are naturally curious about, if you had a week to nerd out about specific subjects what would they be? Avoid being general. For example, instead of saying I'm curious about history be specific. For me, I’m curious about the witch trials that started in the 1700s and the Spanish Inquisition in South America. Or instead of I'm curious about relationships, it can be something like I'm curious about navigating the energetic polarities of sexual relationships, ok that says a little about me... What about you what are you curious about?
Make a list of 25 things that spark your curiosity and make you come alive. How can learn, engage, and do more of that in a way that supports your dreams and visions?
Curiosity also activates the pharmacy in your brain that produces all the feel-good chemicals.
Dopamine: Often referred to as the "reward neurotransmitter," dopamine is associated with pleasure and reinforcement.
Acetylcholine: This neurotransmitter is involved in learning, memory, and arousal. It is thought to contribute to attention and interest in novel stimuli.
Norepinephrine: A neurotransmitter and hormone, norepinephrine is associated with alertness, attention, and the "fight or flight" response. It can enhance focus and arousal, promoting exploration and engagement with the environment.
Serotonin: This neurotransmitter is known for its role in regulating mood, but it also contributes to various cognitive functions.
Endorphins: These are neurotransmitters that act as natural painkillers and mood elevators.
Oxytocin: Often referred to as the "love hormone" or "bonding hormone," oxytocin is associated with social bonding and trust.
In short, curiosity can help you get high on your own supply and give you the energy required to create with focus and concentration which equals flow.
